Road cycling - Bormio

Arrival to Milan or Venice airport. Transfer to the choosen hotel in Cortina d”Ampezzo. Dinner in the hotel. We offer 3 to 5-stars hotels, lodges. Hotels are carefully selected (usualy family run hotels) and offer Alpine charm, wellness area, and amazing local food.

From Bormio you will climb up to Umbrail Pass and then down to the town of Santa Maria in Switzerland, then you will proceed to Glurns and start climbing famous Passo dello Stelvio. After 20 km up, there is a time to rest and amazing downhill to Bormio. Total 100 km (3000 m ascent)

From Bormio you will start to climb one of the most famous passes of Giro d'Italia - Passo Gavia, then a 17 km downhill to Ponte di Legno. On the way . The next step is another famous pass – Passo Mortirolo. 13 km downhill to Sondalo and return to Bormio. Total 113 km (3000 ascent). Possible to do the route in the opposite direction.

From Bormio up to Passo del Foscagno and then to Livigno, the road goes along the lake. After the tunnel you will be in Switzerland. The scenic road of Mustair Valley takes you to the town of Santa Maria. Then you will climb again to Passo Umbrail and downhill to Bormio. Total 108 km.

Today you will repeat the route from Bormio to Livigno. But from there you will turn left in the direction of Passo Forcola. After reaching the pass, you will enter Switzerland and ride in the highest parts and most beautiful landscapes of the Alps. 35 km downhill to Tirano. Return to Bormio. 133 km (2500 m ascent)

Today you will ride in an amazing landscapes of Lake Como, you will stop in small towns (Varenna, Lecco, Bellagio) for some great food, a glass of wine and espresso coffee. Total of max. 100 km.

You will enter Switzerland again. From the hotel you will ride to Lake Lugano, passing beautiful Porlezza, stopping in charming town of Lugano and will make a tour around the Lake (one of the most beautiful in Europe). Total of max. 100 km.
