TREKKING TATRA MOUNTAINS & PIENINY
8 days/7 overnights/5 days trekking + 1 sightseeing in Kraków. Day 1
Arrival to Kraków. Transfer to Zakopane - „the capital” of High Tatra Mountains (aprox. 2 h). Day 2
Hiking day. Kasprowy Wierch or Western Tatras (Chocholowska Valley and Kościeliska Valley). In the evening short visit to the wooden architecture of Zakopane and to small local cheese manufacture by shipyards. You can taste and buy it. Day 3
Hiking day. Five Lakes Valley trail (full day trek). In the evening possible dinner with local music and traditional dances and meals. Day 4
Transfer to Pieniny Mountains. Half day hiking in the National Park of Pieniny. Soft rafting (on traditional wooden rafts). Day 5
Hiking day. Morskie Oko mountain hut (by the beautiful lake) to Rysy (highest peak of Poland) and return to Morskie Oko mountain hut. Optional walk down through Rybi Potok valley. Return to Zakopane. In the evening time to relax in the spa. Day 6
Trekking in High Tatras. Trail of the Red Peaks or other that can be arranged with customers. Evening transfer to Kraków. Day 7
Sightseeing in Kraków (Old Town, Wawel Castel, Jewish Quartier). Optionaly Wieliczka Salt Mine (UNESCO). Day 8
After breakfast tranfer to the airport. It is possible to extend the stay in Poland. It is possible to extend the stay in Zakopane for more hikes.
